Scott Ramsden

Scott Ramsden is a Senior Director in the Construction Solutions practice of FTI Consulting, and he is based in Hong Kong. As an accomplished construction consulting professional, Mr. Ramsden has broad experience in quantity surveying, dispute management, dispute resolution and litigation support. He has worked on numerous standard and bespoke forms of contract resolving multiple disputes.

Recent assignments have involved claim and dispute management services for numerous construction mega-projects, as well as commercial management services.

Mr. Ramsden has worked in internationally for over 17 years, of which 10 years have been in Asia and the Middle East, with some of the largest blue chip employers and contractors in the construction industry. He has considerable experience in the preparation, defence, negotiation and settlement of contractual claims. He works alongside, and in support of, solicitors and barristers providing claims advice, commercial and contract management and dispute resolution services. He has also provided commercial management services to major international contractors and oil & gas companies. Having worked as a contractor and consultant, Mr. Ramsden is able to provide strategic advice to a range of clients.

Mr. Ramsden has worked across multiple sectors including but not limited to power, oil & gas, infrastructure, building (including high rise) and rail. He is an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor with additional qualifications and experience in construction law, arbitration, mediation and project management.
