Richard Sunderland is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in London. Mr. Sunderland works in the Real Estate practice within the Strategic Communications segment.
Mr. Sunderland joined FTI Consulting in 2007 and has over 19 years’ experience in financial PR, IR and corporate communications, the last 12 of which have been focused on real estate and the built environment. He has significant domestic and international experience in providing communications advice for IPOs, M&A, financial calendar, fund management, private equity real estate and crisis communications, as well as ongoing corporate brand building programmes, restructuring communications and support for major developments. Mr. Sunderland’s clients include: AEW, Atrium European Real Estate, AXA IM – Real Assets, Capital & Regional, The Carlyle Group, Barings Real Estate Advisors, Croydon Partnership (a Westfield and Hammerson joint venture), Kennedy Wilson Europe Real Estate, Market Tech, M7 Real Estate, Secure Income REIT, SEGRO and UBS Asset Management. Prior to a career in PR, Mr. Sunderland was a Captain in the British Army.
