FTI Consulting’s UK Strategic Communications team tops the “deals by volume” league table for M&A Transactions in Europe as listed in Mergermarket’s H1 2018 league table.

FTI Consulting’s Andrew Durant and Ian Thompson have been recognised as leading forensic accountants, amongst nine others in the EMEA region. Compass Lexecon also performs well in the Spanish market, with Alejandro Requejo and Jorge Padilla being named.

Who’s Who Legal released its Competition 2018: Economists Analysis. Compass Lexecon had the most experts recognised with 42 experts from six countries. In addition, Compass Lexecon experts Miguel de la Mano, Neil Dryden, Jorge Padilla, Dennis Carlton, Janusz Ordover and Jonathan Orszag were named among the top Competition Thought Leaders.

FTI Consulting received a gold award in the category ‘best pro-bono work for a charitable, social or ethical cause’ at the 2018 Corporate Engagement Awards in London. They also received the best overall prize for their UK charity partnership with Place2Be.

Compass Lexecon has been recognised as the top expert witness firm by Global Arbitration Review (GAR) in the GAR 100 Expert Witness Firms’ Power Index. The Index looks at information gathered from international arbitration hearings to quantify the activity of expert firms over a two year period.

The award, given by the Institute for Turnaround, seeks to identify and celebrate exceptional performance, a strong moral compass and innovation of the turnaround community; reinvigorating companies and enabling them to succeed.

FTI Consulting’s European Tax Advisory Team named UK Transfer Pricing & Tax Valuation Advisory Firm of the Year by ACQ Acquisitions. The ACQ Global Awards recognise the achievements of those who are responding most successfully to the demands being placed on them in the new post-recession business environment.

Head of Governance, Risk & Regulation Jeannette Lichner was awarded the Outstanding Long-Term Service to the Compliance Industry at the Thomson Reuters 11th Annual Compliance Awards 2015, aimed at recognising the outstanding individuals, teams and support players in the compliance community.

In its inaugural report on e-discovery software, Gartner awarded Ringtail the top rating for legal review software. Of the 20 e-discovery software providers evaluated by Gartner, Ringtail software received a 4.43 out of 5, the highest product score given in the legal review use case.

FTI Technology’s Ringtail software was recognised for three consecutive years as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for e-discovery software. Ringtail is a full-featured platform for law firms and corporate legal teams of all sizes, available on-premises, on-demand or in a Software as a Service (SaaS) format.

Global risk and investigations are cited as being a “notable area of strength” for FTI Consulting and represent “one of the company’s sweet spots.” FTI Technology’s Ringtail e-discovery software has consistently been recognised as a top online review platform, including in the 2015 Best of The National Law Journal reader rankings.
