Glenn Barden is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Technology practice based in London. Glenn has extensive e-discovery experience, specializing in the development of review workflows in combination with the reduction of document sets through the application of Relativity Analytics.
Glenn has project experience across a range of market segments, including the management of some of the largest e-discovery cases across Europe. He has worked on several high-profile Government & Public Services cases, including coordinating large-scale device collections across the country before working through methodologies to streamline a review of over 50 million documents.
Glenn has worked on a number of cross-border engagements, formulating collection and review strategies to mitigate data privacy risks and ensuring local regulation compliance. In doing so, he has deployed and maintained mobile data centers, processing data in LAW PreDiscovery with simultaneous review taking place in Relativity.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Glenn was a manager in the Forensic Technology and Discovery Services team at EY, leading the Relativity relationship alongside managing multiple third-party hard-copy document teams. Glenn was involved in the collection, scanning and review strategy of a highly sensitive project, involving the inventory of over 100 boxes of potentially relevant material and subsequent disclosures of relevant material.
Glenn was also responsible for providing internal Relativity training for all new joiners to the team, developing material around the Relativity Certified Administrator exam syllabus and providing drop-in study sessions for candidates. He also managed the recruitment pipeline for the e-discovery team, creating job descriptions and interview packs, presenting at on-campus events, leading interviews and undertaking candidate benchmarking.
Glenn holds a number of industry certifications, including holding Relativity Certified Administrator status since 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King’s College London, developing a sentence plausibility machine for his final dissertation.
