Ben Hughes leads the firms Restructuring M&A offering in the UK. Having started his career in restructuring, Ben moved into M&A in 2010 where he gained significant mainstream and special situations M&A experience from working on a number of lead sell-side and buy-side advisory mandates, fundraisings, strategic options reviews and valuations.
In his 16 years of acting as a lead advisor, Ben has worked with a broad range of clients including corporates, lenders and investors, across a variety of sectors such as Retail, Leisure, Healthcare and TMT, Financial Services and Industrials.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ben worked in Deloitte’s Corporate Finance team, with a focus on Restructuring M&A, before that, he worked at AlixPartners.
Ben is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
