Valuation lies at the core of corporate finance decisions. The valuation perspectives of stakeholders typically drive their desire to invest or divest on a wide range of transactions including financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, IPO or other fundraising. Companies, capital providers and other stakeholders may require valuation analysis to support negotiations or other commercial decision making. Alternatively, valuation opinions may be required to satisfy regulatory requirements or to provide assurance on the fairness of the terms of a transaction. The common thread running through all these situations is the need for valuation advice that is robust, commercial and independent. Valuation can be controversial and subjective so you need independent analysis which will stand up to scrutiny.
