Promoting the Leading Real Estate Industry Event in the World
We are the official communications partner to MIPIM, the world’s leading property market, working with the organisers for 25 years to help it grow in both size and importance.
For the real estate industry worldwide, MIPIM is arguably the most important event of the year. Taking place in Cannes every March, it gives property professionals an unparalleled opportunity to exhibit, learn, network, do business and socialise, with the 2015 conference attracting almost 22,000 delegates from 89 countries.
MIPIM is organised by Reed MIDEM, and our team has a long established role as the official communications partner for the show.
As well as handling reputation management for the event, we have also been instrumental in shaping the conference programme over the years, and determining policy around it. We are also a significant driving force behind attracting delegates from the UK, which is the key audience, accounting for a sizeable proportion of the global attendees.
Before each event we work closely with Reed MIDEM to identify themes, content and a format which will resonate with the media and the audience, using the exceptional industry insight that we have gained from our extensive work for clients in the sector. We also produce the famous ‘Tough Guide’, which tells delegates all they need to know about the many individual events that take place over the four days.
We secure media partnerships with the key UK real estate press and support the MIPIM conference programme. People expect MIPIM to put on big name speakers, and for panels to feature business leaders, and we also play an important role in this process. In 2014, for example, we brought in Boris Johnson and in 2000 we brought together all the London mayoral candidates. Over the years we have also co-ordinated the attendance of major cities from around the world, ranging from Cardiff to Kigali.

During the event itself we provide support to MIPIM’s in house press department, helping over 400 journalists, approximately a quarter of them from the English-speaking press, find the right events to attend, and to ensure they meet with the right delegates.

We arrange meetings for them with potential clients, find speaking opportunities on panels, organise press briefings and put together an itinerary that maximises the return on their investment.

When Reed MIDEM decided to launch a similar event for the international retail property market, MAPIC, they chose us to develop and promote it. We have also helped them launch a UK-only based version of MIPIM at Olympia in London, both of which events have been a tremendous success.
