FTI Consulting Appoints Renaud Dutreil as Chairman of France within the Strategic Communications Segment

Former LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton North America Chairman Has Served in the Highest Offices of French Government for More Than 15 Years

Paris, 12 Jan., 2016 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organisations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced the appointment of Renaud Dutreil as Chairman of France within the firm’s Strategic Communications segment. He will be based in Paris.

Mr. Dutreil has held a number of positions in the private and public sectors throughout his illustrious career. Most recently, he has led a private investment fund, Belleville Solutions and serves as a non-active member of the French Council of State, which acts as the Supreme Court in public law. Prior to this, he served as the North American Chairman of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and on the Board of LCapital, LVMH Private Equity fund from 2008 to 2012. He has also held various ministerial roles including Minister of Small & Medium-Sized Businesses, Commerce, Crafts and Liberal Professions from 2005 to 2007; Minister of the Civil Service and State Reform from 2004 to 2005; and Secretary of State for Small & Medium-Sized Businesses, Commerce, Crafts and Liberal Professions from 2002 to 2004. He was also a Member of the French Parliament from 1994 to 2008.

In his new role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Dutreil will serve as a senior counsellor to clients, providing insights on the political, economic and business environment in France and on an international scale. Furthermore, he will work closely with the firm’s Strategic Communications’ Paris office heads, Arnaud Salla and Guillaume Granier, to continue to expand the firm’s presence in the market.
