FTI Consulting Announces Closing of Common Stock Offering
Baltimore, MD - October 9, 2007
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced the closing of its previously announced public offering of 4,830,000 shares of the Company's common stock, which includes 630,000 shares sold pursuant to the exercise of the underwriter's option to purchase additional shares, at a price to the public of $50.00 per share, less the underwriting discount.
The net proceeds to the Company of the offering are $231.84 million, after payment of the underwriting discounts and commissions, but excluding estimated offering expenses. As previously announced, the Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including the continuation of its strategic acquisition program.
Deutsche Bank Securities, Banc of America Securities LLC, and Goldman, Sachs & Co. acted as the joint book-running managers of the offering.
